From a modest Jewellery Showroom in Bombay Rankas entered into Textiles and Silks with a network spanning Western and Southern India. It was in the late 70's that Rankas ventured into Property Development as PIONEERS when the concept of flats was still alien to Bangaloreans.

He is the backbone of the design & construction activity. A Bachelor of Science and A.M.I.E.C(Mechanical) with vast experience of over 3 decades in Engineering Fields he has had a long tenure with Chogule & Co. Pvt. Ltd. - Goa, Dept.of Mines & Geology of Govt. of Karnataka. Having joined the Ranka Group in 1991, he has ably managed the R&D and operations of the Groups' Building Products Factory.

Senior Retired Officer of IOFS Cadre, who was holding Grade I Administrative Post in the Ministry of Defence Production, Govt. of India. A Mechanical Engineer specialized in Industrial Engineering. He joined Ranka Group on retirement in 1984 and is overseeing important functions of Ranka Developers, with major thrust on Materials Management, Planning and Coordination, Marketing and Public Relations.
